Kinley brings a quiet strength and a wealth of life experience to Cloverdale Early Education and Care, where she is a kind, gentle, and deeply committed educator. Though she may be a little shy at first, those who know Kinley quickly come to appreciate her calm, nurturing presence and her dedication to the children in her care.

Born and raised in Bhutan, Kinley completed her schooling there before travelling to India to pursue higher education. She completed a Law degree and returned to Bhutan to work for the government in the area of anti-corruption. It was also during this time that she first discovered her love for early childhood education, having the opportunity to work with young children and finding joy in supporting their growth and development.

In 2014, Kinley moved to Australia with the original intention of continuing her studies in law. She enrolled in a criminology degree, but her passion for early childhood education and care continued to call her. While studying criminology, Kinley also completed her Certificate III in Early Childhood Education, eventually deciding to follow her heart and pursue a career in this rewarding field.

Kinley began working across various early learning centres in Perth, gaining valuable experience. In 2024, she joined the Cloverdale team, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a deep love for working with children. She completed her Diploma shortly after and continues to grow and thrive as part of our team.

Kinley’s favourite age group to work with is toddlers — a stage she finds especially meaningful as children begin to assert their independence, explore their environment, and communicate more openly. She enjoys being part of this critical stage, helping to guide and support their development through play, routines, and strong, trusting relationships.

Fluent in English, Bhutanese, and Nepalese, and with a strong understanding of Hindi, Kinley’s multilingual skills help to enrich our diverse learning environment and allow her to build strong connections with children and families from a variety of backgrounds.

Kinley is known for her incredible patience, gentle approach, and thoughtful interactions with children. Her kind nature and quiet confidence make her a calm and reassuring presence in the centre, and a valued member of the Cloverdale team. Her background, life journey, and unwavering commitment to children’s wellbeing make her an exceptional educator who contributes so much to the warm, inclusive culture of our centre.

This form is available for parents and their children to write a heartfelt message to their favourite teachers and other staff at Cloverdale Childcare. This is a tradition called a “Warm and Fuzzy”.

While brightening the day of the recipients, and making them feel ‘Warm and Fuzzy’, these messages can be used to teach children about positive social interactions, to positively contribute to a supportive community, and to become strong in their social and emotional wellbeing.

Our educators can also use these messages to engage with your child by asking how writing the message made them feel, and by the educator expressing how receiving the messages makes them feel.
