Tiffany is the youngest member of the Cloverdale Early Education and Care team and the most recent addition to our community. Born in South Africa, Tiffany spent her early years immersed in a different educational culture before moving to Australia with her parents and younger sister in 2017. Here, she completed her formal schooling and found a new place to call home.

Before discovering her true passion, Tiffany worked in the hair and beauty industry, initially pursuing formal qualifications through an apprenticeship. However, she soon realised her heart lay elsewhere — in working with children. Always fascinated by how young minds grow and develop, Tiffany found herself drawn to early childhood education, inspired particularly by the Australian approach, which she describes as beautifully nurturing, creative, and far more child-led compared to the more structured, rigid systems she experienced in South Africa.

Fluent in both English and Afrikaans, Tiffany brings a rich cultural perspective to her role. She is currently completing her Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care through a traineeship and has ambitions to further her studies by achieving her Diploma qualification in the future. Alongside her professional goals, she is also excited to soon obtain her driver’s license — a personal milestone she is working toward with enthusiasm!

Tiffany has a special love for working in the Pre-Kindy room, where she enjoys the unique blend of ages and stages — children who are developing language and independence yet still love a cuddle and a moment of affection. Her bubbly, positive energy shines through in everything she does. Tiffany is known for her approachable nature, strong teamwork skills, and her eagerness to learn — always asking thoughtful questions and seeking ways to grow and support her team.

Outside of work, Tiffany describes herself as a proud “nerd.” She takes pleasure in in collecting and trading Pokémon cards, painting, drawing, and expressing herself through the arts. She also has a love of music and movement and fondly remembers her time in her high school music academy — even if she laughs about no longer thinking she’s the next pop sensation! Fortunately, the children love her singing and dancing, which brings warmth, laughter, and joy to the room.

Tiffany’s dedication to nurturing creativity, imagination, and emotional connections makes her a valued member of our Cloverdale EEC family. Her bright spirit, natural rapport with children, and passion for early learning ensure that the children in her care feel valued, inspired, and truly loved.

This form is available for parents and their children to write a heartfelt message to their favourite teachers and other staff at Cloverdale Childcare. This is a tradition called a “Warm and Fuzzy”.

While brightening the day of the recipients, and making them feel ‘Warm and Fuzzy’, these messages can be used to teach children about positive social interactions, to positively contribute to a supportive community, and to become strong in their social and emotional wellbeing.

Our educators can also use these messages to engage with your child by asking how writing the message made them feel, and by the educator expressing how receiving the messages makes them feel.
